Description
Join us for a warm, supportive, and creative learning journey led by tutor and mentor Caron Penney. Over four sessions, Caron will help you navigate complex ideas and transform them into accessible, personal, and expressive woven works. This course is designed for a small online group, offering a friendly and constructive space where you can explore ideas connected to your own voice - whether inspired by the environment, the seasons, politics, humanity, poetry, literature, or your personal story. Together, we’ll look at ways to translate these concepts into woven form, here are a few suggestions: + Literature expressed through colour + Emotions shaped in form + Music traced in line + Political ideas woven into text Bring your enthusiasm and any reference materials that spark your imagination. By the end, you’ll have developed a tapestry design, concept, or textile piece that is uniquely your own. Course Structure The course takes place across four days spread over five weeks, allowing time to reflect and build between sessions.
