We are pleased to announce that Atelier Weftfaced is now providing one to one tutorials for students wishing to gain some feedback and examine their tapestry work in a secure environment. If you join us for a tutorial we would discuss the direction your work is taking, the focus and research you are developing, and if you would like the tutorial could cover technical questions and dilemma's. 

The face to face tutorial would take place in our new studio near Petworth, West Sussex, where we have a dedicated space available for teaching.

We are also offering tutorials via the Zoom conferencing app, these take place in the comfort of your home and take a similar form to the above, they can be spaced out over a mutually agreed timetable. A single meeting will last one hour.

Price guide:

Face to face tutorials: £250 (lasting 4 hours)

Digital tutorials: £70.00 for a one hour tutorial.

Your Tutor: 

Caron Penney is an independent artist and artisanal tapestry weaver who works from her own studio in West Sussex. She was formerly the Director of West Dean Tapestry Studio. Caron has tapestries in collections and exhibits her work across the UK and Internationally. She has been teaching tapestry weaving since 2001 after studying for her PGCE (Post 16). Caron teaches at Morley College, West Dean College, and many other institutions, including from her own studio. She runs Atelier Weftfaced.
