This will be an exciting informative tapestry weaving workshop for those interested in making sculptural tapestry for the first time.
There are a number of ways you can create tapestry which has a sculptural element. In Part One, this workshop explores how to make shaped three dimensional tapestry starting with a flat woven tapestry on the loom. Part Two ends this workshop by moulding and reshaping our tapestries creating a three dimensional object off the loom.
Please refer to the images for the type of work you might make during and after this workshop.
