These classes offer a time for learning, weaving, and communication in a relatively small regular online group. They are for semi intermediate to advanced students.
You are given the opportunity to weave on projects which you are developing, time to discuss technical problems, and asked to seek out ways of dealing with technical issues from a distance. There is a strong structure to the workshops, which allows you to also dialogue and discuss issues of the day, including ‘why do we weave tapestry’, or to review a book, artist, exhibition which maybe of interest to the group. These discussions will sometimes be the focus of a morning.
The meetings run every fortnight, on a Monday in term time, this equates to five workshops in the Autumn, Spring and Summer terms, a total of 15 sessions.
